Billy Hepner '16 Leads Men's Swim & Dive to 171-75 Win over Brandeis with Three Individual Victories
Coming through with three individual wins during the Cardinals' home meet vs. Brandeis Sat., Dec. 1, Billy Hepner '16 (photo) helped Wesleyan dominate Brandeis for a 171-75 triumph. In total, the Cardinals won 11 of the 14 events during the meet. Hepner was victorious in both the 100 and 200 breast and added a win in the 200 IM to his credits.
Stefan Brown '15 produced a pair of wins with top times in the 200 back and 100 fly. Other individual titles came from Nick Huston '13 in the 200 back, Wes Fantini '13 in the 50 free, Erik Yan '15 in the 200 fly and Jeff Arace '12 in the 200 free. Wesleyan also captured both relay events with Huston, Fantini, Yan and Arace combining for a win in the 200 medley relay while Fantini, Yan, Arace and Martin Kafina '13 were the winning quartet in the 200 free relay.
Ahead for the team is a meet at Providence Sat., Jan. 5 with Brown also in attendance for a three-team affair.
