Men's Soccer to Inaugurate 2013 Wesleyan Fall Sports Season at Home Wed., Sept. 4

The 2013 Wesleyan fall sports season kicks off at home Wed., Sept. 4 when the men's soccer squad, coming off an NCAA tournament qualifying season in 2012, hosts Framingham St. at 4:30 p.m.  The majority of the remaining 11 fall teams open their campaigns over the weekend of Fri.-Sat., Sept. 6-7 with women's volleyball in a tournament at Brandeis both days while women's soccer and field hockey join men's soccer at Bowdoin for NESCAC action on Saturday.  The golf team will be at the Trinity Invitational Saturday and Sunday.  The cross country squads warm up for the season with an alumni run on Saturday.  Men's tennis begins the season in a tournament at Middlebury Sat.-Sun., Sept. 14-15.  Women's tennis gets going in a dual match at Williams Sat., Sept. 21 while football also inaugurates the year Sept. 21, hosting Tufts in an historic 6 p.m. contest under portable lights on Andrus Field.  Both crew squads start the fall head racing season Sun., Oct. 6 in the Textile River Regatta in Lowell, Mass.  For the complete sport-by-sport fall schedule, please click < here >.  For the complete fall chronological schedule, please click < here >.
