Foster was a 3-0 victor against Amherst and a 3-1 winner vs. Williams during her top-rung matches. As a team, Wesleyan came out on the short end of the scoreboard, falling to Amherst, 7-2, and Williams, 8-1. Joining Foster with a triumph over a Lord Jeff was #3 Annie Maxwell, also a 3-0 winner.
