Through NESCAC tournament play, Rutt ranked fifth in the conference in batting average, third in homers, tied for seventh in doubles, tied for fourth in RBI and second in slugging percentage.

This is the second year in a row Wesleyan has boasted the NESCAC softball Rookie of the Year as Su Pardo '16 received the accolade in 2013.  Pardo was the Cardinals' top pitcher again in 2014, going 7-10 with a 2.32 ERA and .263 opposing batting average while striking out 165 in 129.2 innings of work.  Pardo now has 317 strikeouts over two seasons, just 80 shy of the Wesleyan career record.

The Cardinals finished the 2014 campaign with a 10-22 mark, 3-9 in NESCAC play.
