ELEVEN WESLEYAN SWIMMING & DIVING TEAM MEMBERS RECEIVE ALL-NEW ENGLAND HONORS

Eleven members of Wesleyan's men's and women's swimming & diving teams received honors from the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association for their performances during the 2002-03 season.

Individuals who had a performance during the season that ranked among the top eight times or point total among all New England Division III teams were named all-New England. Those who ranked from ninth through 16th earned honorable-mention all-New England laurels.

Among Wesleyan's men's team, Josh Tanz '06 (100 fly, 50 free, 50 fly, 400 free relay), Tom Cleveland '05 (50 free, 100 IM, 400 free relay, 800 free relay), Will McCue '06 (50 free, 400 free relay), Zach Webster '06 (200 back, 800 free relay), Nick Blondin '04 (200 breast), Rob Mitchell '06 (800 free relay), Dan Devine '06 (400 free relay, 800 free relay) and Geoff Hill '03 (1-meter dive) all received honorable-mention all-New England accolades.

On the women's side, Stephanie Lasby '06 and Mikki Columbus '05 both earned all-New England honors, Lasby in the 1000 free and Columbus in the 200 free. Lasby also was honorable-mention in the 100 fly, 1650 free and 200 fly while Columbus was honorable-mention in the 200 IM, 50 back and 200 back. In addition, Sarah Myksin '06 (200 fly) was honorable-mention.
