Women's Varsity Eight Makes Grand Final, Places Sixth of 17 in New England Rowing Championships - Ends Year in 10th Place at ECACs - Cotter '13 & Doyle '14 Honored by NESCAC, Cloud '14 is All-American

The women's varsity 8 placed sixth in the Grand Final of the New England Rowing Championships Sat., May 4 in Worcester, Mass. The crew finished second in the morning heat of six crews, topping Tufts by 4.5 seconds to earn a qualifying spot. "This is a huge accomplishment for our program", said Head Coach Pat Tynan. "We haven't had a varsity 8 race in the Grand Finals of the New England Championships since 2001. It's been too long." This accomplished crew featured rowers Avery Mushinski '15, Remy Johnson '16, Kayla Cloud '14, Clare Doyle '14, Annie Dade '16, Hannah Korevaar '14, Robin Cotter '13 and Emilie Sinkler '14, guided by cox Ari Rudess '15.
