Welcome to the Wesleyan Athletics Webcast/LiveStats/WesPregame Page

Wesleyan plans to webcast well over 50 athletic contests during the 2013-14 academic year.  During the fall, 22 contests were aired whie during the winter, 28 events were webcast. The tentative spring schedule has been determined for 16 events and is posted below in its entirety.  It remains subject to change.  In addition, should a Wesleyan team qualify for the a post-season tournament (NESCAC or NCAA) and host a contest, every effort will be made to webcast the event.

We hope you enjoy the contests brought to you courtesy of the athletics department with sponsorship from the Courtyard by Marriott - Cromwell/Hartford and the Inn at Middletown.  Wesleyan's Instructional Media Services is responsible for the content and presentation of the webcasts.  The football games will be handled by WesPregame, a student-sponsored division of IMS.

These webcasts include both video and audio components.  All games are available through the same link: http://wescast.wesleyan.edu.  If there is more than one broadcast taking place, separate links for each webcast will be posted on this page.  All the information required to watch the webcasts is contained on the aforementioned web site, courtesy of IMS.  Please note that Wesleyan athletic webcasts can now be viewed on an iPhone, iPad or Android-equipped mobile device as well.

In addition, we plan to feature LiveStats for all home baseball games. Please use the following URL for all home games: http://condor.wesleyan.edu/cascademedia/athletics/stats/baseball/xlive.htm
All softball games will be available in a livetats form through GameChanger.  There will be a link on the top of the softball home page < http://www.wesleyan.edu/athletics/softball/index.html > to make the connection.
Unfortunately we have not been able to establish a consistent connection for internet transmission of LiveStats at men's and women's lacrosse games.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  We will, however, be able to do LiveStats for the men's regular-season finale Wed., April 23 against Conn. College at the following URL:

Below, we also try to list opponent webcast/LiveStat productions on a weekly basis so Wesleyan events on the road that receive live coverage can be linked on this page.

PLEASE NOTE - Inclement weather or other circumstances may force the cancellation or rescheduling of a webcast.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Wesleyan is fortunate in 2013-14 to have a very active student video production group called WesPregame.  They will be in their second full year of existence.  They will be running a series of live sports programs Monday evenings at 9 p.m. during the fall to update Wesleyan fans on the goings on of Cardinal sport teams.  They will often have guests on their program. They plan to continue the program throughout the winter and spring seasons.  The show can be viewed at the same link as above for webcasts. WesPregame also handles the webcasts for various sports, including football.  This usually means a pregame show, multiple cameras and sideline commentators in addition to the normal play-by-play coverage.  Their work in 2012-13 received high praise from viewers and they intend to continue their high quality of production this year.
