Eudice Chong '18 & Helen Klass-Warch '18 Lead Women's Tennis to 3rd Straight Upset Win, Decimating Brandeis, 9-0 - Team, Now Ranked 17th, Gets NESCAC Win at Bates

Taking on their fourth straight opponent with a higher national ranking, the Cardinals produced their most convincing victory of the spring with a 9-0 shellacking of Brandeis indoors Fri., March 20. The Judges came in ranked 26th in the country in Division III while Wesleyan stood 34th. New national rankings came out Thurs., March 26, three days before the Cardinals hit the court again in match mode. That comes Sun., March 29 at Bates in a NESCAC matchup. The Bobcats sit 40th nationally. Wesleyan moved all the way up to 17th with its recent stellar play. Eudice Chong '18 (left side photo) and Helen Klass-Warch '18 (right side photo) were completely dominant in both singles and doubles against the Judges as they combined for a quick 8-0 doubles win before winning in straight sets in singles, Chong by a 6-1, 6-0 score and Klass-Warch by a 6-1, 6-1 count.
