Wesleyan ended up 3-5 vs. NESCAC opponents, 2-3 during the spring. Enjoying glorious weather for its match vs. Smith Fri., April 20, the Cards took advantage by taking all three doubles and every set in singles for a 9-0 win. The triumph was the 10th of the year for the team and after finishing the season on the road at Mount Holyoke Tues., April 24 with an 8-1 win, the squad closed out the campaign with an 11-7 mark. The conquest at Mount Holyoke came without the services of two regulars who were unavailable due to injury and a schedule conflict.
