Women's Track Sets 2 School Records During N.E. Open Meet, Then Sets Two More at ECACs - Alexis Walker '16 is NCAA Qualifier

Despite coming away empty in the team point department, Wesleyan established two school records while competing in the New England Open meet at Stonehill, which featured many Division I and II colleges as only one school among the top 10 finishers (Tufts) was a Division III entry. The meet concluded Sat., May 11. Then during the final meet of the regular season Thurs.-Fri., May 16-17 at Springfield, site of the ECAC Division III Championships, Wesleyan had three fifth-place finishes to gain 12 team points and finish in a tie for 23rd among 59 scoring teams. There two more team records were set while Alexis Walker '16 (photo lower left) qualified for her second trip to Nationals in the long jump this year.
