Repeating as the Little Three high-jump champ, Kathryn Kulowski '11 (main photo) added the triple-jump crown to her credits in leading the Cardinals in team points during the annual Little Three meet, this year hosted by Wesleyan Sat., April 18.
With her winning high jump of 5-1 and triple jump of 34-7 3/4, Kulowski also placed second in the long jump (16-1) for 19 team points. She also was part of the Cardinals' second-place 4x100m relay. Wesleyan collected 93 scoring points while Amherst had 114 and Williams, 174.
Also providing the Cardinals with first-place points with a time of :16.50 in the 100m hurdles was Kiran Sheffrin '10 (photo insert lower right). She, too, contributed to the 4x100m relay squad's success. Wesleyan got solid second-place postings from Lisa Sussman '09 in the 800m, Ravenna Neville '10 in the 5k and Lilly Fesler '11 in the triple jump.
The Cardinals will display their talents next during the annual NESCAC Championships Sat., April 25 on the campus of Conn. College.
