Pine Eyes is a musical adaptation by Martin Bresnick of Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio. Pine Eyes' first four movements were comissioned by Zeitgeist , and premiered in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1999 as a purely musical piece.
In 2005 Puppetsweat created a computer performed animation to accompany the first four movements and premiered this multi-media Pine Eyes with Zeitgeist at the Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis.
