The Swingers Listserv


We've set up a listserv for all you swing kids out there. It's pretty much just going to be an electronic bulletin board for Wesleyan's swing community.

Signing up is a snap. Just send an e-mail, taking care to follow these 2 easy steps:

  • 1) Send the e-mail to majordomo@wesleyan.edu from the account you want subscribed (send it as yourself, not logged in as a friend).
  • 2) In the body of the message, put only the following text: subscribe swingers

    That's it--it's that easy. To unsubscribe, it's almost the same as above. Send an e-mail to majordomo@wesleyan.edu, but this time the body of the message is unsubscribe swingers.

    To get a list of all the commands you can use, send an e-mail to majordomo@wesleyan.edu, and in the body type: help

    To send mail to the list, just send an e-mail to swingers@wesleyan.edu! Nice and easy!

    Since the majordomo server is all automated, in any messages you send to majordomo@wesleyan.edu, the subject field of the letter does not matter, but a couple of things do. The most important is that in the body of the message, only the commands should be there, and NOTHING ELSE! This means no sig. files, no "thank you," no putting your name. It should look like:

    subscribe swingers

    You get the idea. Anyway, join the list and see what your swinging friends have been talking about!
