1. What is a fundraising campaign?
A campaign is generally a long-term (3-7 years) fundraising effort designed to fund projects and priorities over and above the annual operating budget.

2. How is money from a campaign used?
Money raised during a campaign is allocated differently for every institution or organization. Generally, campaign leaders define the primary needs and priorities, and set goals, before the outset of the campaign.

3. How does a campaign impact the Annual Fund?
Increasing the number and size of gifts to Wesleyan through the Annual Fund is a key objective of the campaign, which includes a total WAF goal of $44 million. Read more.

4. Do only wealthy people donate to campaigns?
While large gifts are a crucial part of any campaign, our success requires the participation of the entire Wesleyan community. Each gift, large and small, is very important. Take a look at the campaign gift pyramid to see the importance of gifts at every level.

5. What is the goal for the Wesleyan Campaign?
The Wesleyan Campaign aims to raise $250 million.

6. How much has Wesleyan raised so far?
Commitments to the Wesleyan Campaign continue to grow, with gifts and pledges surpassing the halfway mark in October 2000. Review our progress to date.

7. How can I make a gift?
You can participate by making your Annual Fund gift right away! To discuss a gift other than your Annual Fund gift, contact us.
