			Scholarships Freeman Asian Scholars Program Fund For Excellence Professorships and Academic Programs Facilities Wesleyan Annual Fund Professorships and Academic Programs - $45 million In order to reduce our ratio of students to faculty from 11:1 to less than 10:1, improve course access for all undergraduates, and add programmatic strength in crucial areas we are aiming to hire 20 new tenured or tenure-track faculty positions. A number of new faculty positions are already filled and plans are in place to recruit all twenty new faculty members. Endowment Gifts - An endowment gift of $3 million to name a University Professorship, which will provide salary and benefits for a senior faculty position, as well as additional funds for related programmatic needs such as visiting lecturers and research support. - A gift of $3 million can also endow and name an Academic Center Directorship. - An endowment gift of $2 million names a Departmental Professorship, and will provide salary and benefits for a faculty member. - An endowment gift of $1 million names a head coaching position, and supports our athletic program, a vital link in teaching leadership, cooperation, and self-confidence.
