If  You See Something, Do Something

-- What You Do Can Make a Difference!

Wesleyan CARES (Community, Action, Responsibility, Empowerment, Service) seeks, through training, to empower the community to intervene by removing the obstacles that prevent us from action when our response is required.

Moving from Inaction to ACTION

  1. Notice the event
  2. Interpret as a problem
  3. Feel responsible and empowered to act
  4. Possess the necessary skills to assist
  5. Intervene safely

If small groups would like bystander training you can contact the group at cares@wesleyan.edu
