Housing for Summer Dance Institute 2005
Wesleyan University on-campus housing is available on a weekly basis for
Summer Dance Institute students at Butterfield Colleges and Clark Hall.
You can choose from single or double dorm-style rooms that are simply
furnished with shared bathrooms. Rooms contain a bed, desk, desk chair and a
bureau. A limited number of air conditioned rooms are available.

In order to guarantee housing, your registration form needs to be
received by the Division of Continuing Studies on or before Friday, June 3,
2005.
To
register for housing, complete the Summer Dance Institute 2005
registration form and submit to the Continuing Studies office by fax, mail,
or in person.
Additional Information About
On-Campus Housing
- Students who need to arrive earlier/leave later, or who would like to
stay on campus for less than one week, may call the
Inn at Middletown at (800)
637-9851. Wesleyan rates are available.
- The University's athletic center, tennis courts, Pi Cafe (in the
Science Center) and the Pine Street Dance Studio are located nearby.
- Parking is available in nearby lots (L-Lot for Butterfield or V-Lot
for Clark). Street parking is also available.
- Rates listed above do not include blankets, pillows, linens, towels,
desk lamps/bulbs, fans, utensils/dishes, pots and pans, or housekeeping
services.
- Students can bring a microwave oven for their room. However, hot
plates, toaster ovens, etc. are not allowed. (Kitchenettes/common
pantries are not available.)
- A common area is provided that includes lounge-style seating, a TV
with cable, and a VCR.
- Card-operated washers and dryers are located in the basement.
- Each room is equipped with an Ethernet data port, a cable outlet that
includes free basic service, and a telephone jack with voicemail capacity.
- You will need to bring your own computer, television, and touch tone
telephone. Students will have to register for telephone service with the
University phone service provider at an additional cost.
- To configure your computer to use the date ports, visit the
ITS web site. For additional
help, contact the ITS helpdesk at (860) 685-4000. The Wesleyan computer
store will configure your system to use the data ports for a service fee;
call (860) 685-3907 for more information.
- No pets are allowed at Butterfield Colleges and Clark Hall. If any
pets are found on the premises, the owner will be required to remove the
animal immediately and will be charged a $100 fine by the University for
every time the pet is found on the premises.
