By Car
From Hartford and points north: Take I-91
south, exit 22, to Route 9. Take exit 15 and turn right onto
Route 66 West (Washington Street). Go through 4 traffic lights
and turn left onto Veteran's Way (across from the Lutheran Church).
At the stop sign, turn right onto Washington Terrace. Take an
immediate left into the parking lot. Parking is also available
on the street and in lots off of High Street and Wyllys Avenue.
From New York, New Haven, and points southwest:
Take I-95 to I-91 north, Exit 18 (Route 66), or take the Merritt/Wilbur
Cross Pkwy. (Route 15) to exit 68 (Route 66). Follow Route 66,
which turns into Washington Street, into Middletown. You will
go under a railroad bridge and through one traffic light (the
intersection of Vine Street and Route 3). Turn right onto Veteran's
Way. Turn right onto Washington Terrace and take your immediate
left into the parking lot. Parking is also available on the
street and in lots off of High Street and Wyllys Avenue.
From New London and points southeast: Take
I-95 south to Route 9 north. Take exit 15 and turn left onto
Route 66 West (Washington Street). Go through 4 traffic lights

From Boston and points northeast: Take I-84
west to Hartford; I-91 south to Exit 22 S (south on Route 9).
Take exit 15 and turn right onto Route 66 West (Washington Street).

(across from the Lutheran Church). At the stop sign, turn right
onto Washington Terrace. Take an immediate left into the parking

From Waterbury and points west: Take I-84
east to exit 27 (Route 66/I-691). Follow Route 66 into Middletown.
Route 66 becomes Washington Street. You will go under a railroad

Street and Route 3). Turn right onto Veteran's Way. Turn right
onto Washington Terrace and take your immediate left into the
parking lot. Parking is also available on the street and in
lots off of High Street and Wyllys Avenue.

with connections throughout the Northeast. Metro North train
line, (800) 638-7646, connects from New York to New Haven; the
Peter Pan bus line connects from the New Haven train station
to Middletown.Amtrack, (800) 872-7245, stops in New Haven and
Meriden, CT. (The Meriden Amtrack station is 10 miles west of
The Center for the Arts).
