A Masters thesis concert by graduate music student Leslie Allison.

Chants of Survival is an evening of original compositions by Leslie Allison alongside interpretations of chants from 1158, 1984, and 1999. Leslie Allison is an interdisciplinary composer and Master’s candidate. Her work is informed by somatics, queer culture, and vocality. She is co-founder of the theater collective Tight Braid Group with partner and collaborator Francis Weiss Rabkin, and is a member of the current New Amsterdam Records Composers Lab.
