Turath House
Turath is an Arabic word meaning "heritage". With a housing capacity of five, its mission is to allow any student who identifies as Arab, Middle Eastern, or Muslim to empower themselves and maintain and reclaim their identities. It also serves as the focal point of Arab, Middle Eastern and Muslim cultural and religious activities on campus. Residents of the house help sponsor many programs in conjunction with the Muslim Chaplain and the Muslim Student Association. Turath also sponsors programs independently, such as the popular Henna Festival. All students interested in learning about and celebrating Arab, Middle Eastern and Muslim cultures are welcome in Turath!!
