Muslim Chaplain Bio- Sohaib Sultan

    Sohaib Nazeer Sultan has been a student of
    the Islamic tradition since childhood and
    has had the opportunity to study with
    well-known Muslim scholars in the East and
    West. After completing his B.A. at Indiana
    University in Journalism and Political Science,
    Sohaib moved to Chicago where he pursued
    a career as a freelance journalist and
    authored his first book, “The Koran for
    Dummies,” as part of the famous for
    Dummies seriespublished by Wiley Publishing
    Inc., in 2004. In 2007, Sohaib published his  second book with Skylight Paths Publishing,
    “The Qur’an and Sayings of Prophet Muhammad: Selections Annotated & Explained.”
 

    Sohaib is currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Hartford Seminary where he
    is pursuing a degree in Islamic Studies & Christian-Muslim Relations, and Islamic
    Chaplaincy. He is also a full-time Muslim Chaplain at Trinity College and Wesleyan
    University in CT, as well as a writer and public speaker.
