Student Body

Shanklin Laboratory, 237 Church StreetThe student body at Wesleyan is composed of some 2,800 undergraduates and 450 graduate students. Of the latter, most are in the sciences, are equally divided between men and women, in the Chemistry Department. Most graduates obtain industrial positions, although some choose academic careers, normally after postdoctoral experience in each case.

defended his Ph.D. Thesis on August 18, 2005, "Rotational Spectra and Structures of Weakly Bound Complexes, Molecules with Internal Dynamics, and Reactive Species."
Laura Vickers
defended her thesis for a Master's Degree on Friday, September 9, 2005, "10ns Molecular Dynamics Simulations of the Human Papillomavirus 18 E2 Protein-DNA Complexes".
