Colleen Carpenter grew up in the small town of Port Antonio, Jamaica. She attended Titchfield High School. She was a Chemistry major at Wesleyan and enjoys dancing, poetry, photography, ice-cream and...fun :-) Her past research includes working with Professor Albert Fry on the Electrochemical oxidation of cyclooctatetraene. She joined the Taylor lab in June 2008 to investigate the V. cholerae biofilm proteome. She plans to attend graduate school to attain a PhD in Biochemistry.
