Eric Walton is a rising junior (’11) at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.  His hometown is Cromwell, Connecticut, where he attended Cromwell High School.  He plans to major in Biochemistry, with a particular interest in infectious disease.  Eric plays intramural soccer, and also enjoys Ultimate Frisbee.  After Lafayette he hopes to either attend medical school or pursue an advanced degree in biochemistry for the purpose of conducting pharmaceutical research.  He joined the Taylor group for the summer of 2009, and his current research focuses on the characterization of the LPS biosynthetic proteins of Vibrio cholerae.
