Jeffrey Polanco is a member of the Class of 2010, coming to Wesleyan from the Bronx, NY where he attended All Hallows High School. He was a chemistry major interested in finding computational methods that will accurately predict protein structures; he is now staying for a fifth year as part of Wesleyan's BA/MA program. When not hard at work, he spends his time boxing. After graduation he plans to pursue a PhD in either Chemical Engineering or Computational Biology. Jeffrey is a joint SCIC apprentice and McNair Fellow.
