About The Free Radicals
The Free Radicals are composed of junior and senior chemistry majors. We work to create a sense of community for chemistry majors and students in chemistry classes both in and out of the classroom. Free radical events include study sessions before major exams, tie-dyeing lab coats, and performing chemistry demonstrations for prospective stuents. Although declared majors make up the group, underclassmen are more than welcome to participate in our events. For more information, or for questions about the chemistry major or department in general, feel free to contact any of our Free Radical officers, Natalia Powers-Riggs '13, Kelly How '14, or Patrick Sarver '14. The advisor for the Free Radicals is Professor T. David Westmoreland.
