About The Free Radicals

The Free Radicals are composed of junior and senior Chemistry majors. We work to create a sense of community for chemistry majors and students in chemistry classes both in and out of the classroom. Free Radical events include study sessions before major exams, tie-dyeing lab coats, and performing chemistry demonstrations for prospective students. Although declared majors make up the group, underclassmen are more than welcome to participate in our events. For more information, or for questions about the chemistry major or department in general, feel free to contact our Free Radicals officers. The advisors for the Free Radicals are Prof. Andrea Roberts and Prof. David Westmoreland

Above are some of the t-shirts designed by Free Radicals over the years, modeled by Chemistry students Kate Sundberg, Jing Jing Wang, Lucas Mani, and Corin Grady.
