IV. Certificate Administration
The CEC will be administered by an advisory panel consisting of the Director of the Service-Learning Center, two other faculty members (appointed by the VPAA for a three-year term), the Director of Community Service and Volunteerism, and the Director of Community Relations. The three faculty members must represent at least two academic divisions. Members of the panel may suggest names to the VPAA for consideration.
The CEC Advisory Panel will be responsible for overseeing or delegating:
Applications for the CEC,
Recruiting faculty to teach the Foundation and Capstone Courses,
Updating the list of courses that count towards the Certificate,
Reviewing petitions regarding CEC requirements and
Revising the requirements for the CEC.
