| Media Notes: | Please note, SC150 has been renovated Summer 2003 and has new operating procedures. Please seek training or assistance well in advance of your scheduled use. Contact Heric Flores, x2147. Outside users should clear all media usage with the Coordinator's Office at the time of booking. PC, MAC, VCR, DVD player, Document camera all project from one of 3 overhead data projectors. All equipment, screen and audio selections are made using an AMX touch screen controller located on the teaching desk. (slide and OH transparency projection are not on the touch screen but avail. in the room). Aux. AV and laptop connections are located on the top of the teaching desk. SC150 is equipped with ADA listening and visual assist devices (please request in advance) SC150 has dimmable fluorescent lighting on a pre-set lighting configuration at the teaching desk and main over-ride switches at each entry door. The teaching desk houses the AV equipment, computers, monitor, PC and MAC mouse/keyboard and remote control mouse for each. The size of SC150 necessitates using a microphone for most lectures a wireless mic is available in the room at all times. Advance notice is required for panel discussion and additional room microphone use. |
| Ambiance Notes: | Newly renovated summer 2003, SC150 offers a pleasant and focused teaching environment. Tiered seating with tables and pivot chairs. Teaching desk is a long cabinet with adjustable height podium section. A free-standing podium may be moved and wired at one location to use lighting and microphone options. ADA compliant, 4 wheelchair equipped seating stations (2 at front, 2 at rear). TV/computer monitors avail. at ADA locations. 14 Assistive listening headsets available for room use. Projection booth in the back of the room is not accessible without permission obtained at x3030. The special 16mm film equipment is owned and operated by the CFA. Contact Leith Johnson, x3396 for scheduling and staffing. No Food allowed in the newly renovated space. |
| Scheduling Notes: | All outside groups or Wesleyan Symposia uses of SC 150 should be scheduled with the Coordinator's Office, x 3762. 30 day minimum notice for AV event support is required for SC150. |
