| Media Notes: | SC72 is a special use classroom space and is locked and alarmed. Advance scheduling and training is required. You will find 1 teaching and 13 student stations in the room. Each station contains one PC and MAC computer w/ DVD player, CD-Rom, external speakers. One monitor, keyboard, mouse, and Wacom tablet are shared at each station by using a switcher. Dazzle AV adapters are connected at each MAC station. A scanner is at one station, switch able between MAC/PC. The teaching station is connected to a ceiling mounted data/video projector with VCR, audio amplifier, laptop and aux. connections. The teaching station is the first station as you enter the room; it is in line with the student stations. Room printing is available through your personal Novell accounts. Also in the room: OH transparency projector, main pull-down projection screen, white board. Key code access and training required in advance of use. Room alarmed and not open as a lab. | Ambiance Notes: | Face-to-face discussion seating for 24 around a single large seminar table. 14 computer work stations are around the room facing away from the discussion table. Lighting is dimmable incandescent lighting and overhead fluorescent lighting on split zones. The main teaching wall shares a white board and pull-down projection screen. The room is alarmed and accessible only by permission. Key pad code and training required in advance. |
| Scheduling Notes: | All uses of SC72 require pre-arranged scheduling and training to obtain a security door access code. SC72 is not an open lab. Scheduling via the Registrar's Office M-F before 4pm during classes and the Coordinator's Office after 4pm, weekends and during breaks. REGULAR ITS service blocks occupy Friday-Sunday dates. Auto launch re-imaging software typically runs Friday after 5 pm. Please take care to BOOK ANY/ALL OVERSTAYS OR ADDITIONAL SESSIONS with either the Coordinator or Registrar to avoid conflicts with service blocks.
