Primate Behavioral Ecology introduces students to the interaction between primates and the natural environments in which they live. This course will focus on how and why different habitat types affect primate activity patterns, foraging, social systems, and reproduction strategies. In addition, we will examine the role of primates in ecosystems, and consider the effects of habitat degradation and loss on primate behavior and biodiversity.
