programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Native

The Association for the Advancement of Blacks in Health Sciences
- a non-profit organization founded in 1993 by a group of health care
professionals who were concerned about the under-representation of
Blacks in the sciences and health care fields. The site includes

- The Consortium for
Graduate Study in Management - a consortium that awards 200 full
fellowships annually to students of color seeking advancement in the
business field. This year the Consortium will offer 400 full
fellowships to students who qualify for study at one of the member
schools.

related resources. There are literally hundreds of well-organized

primarily targeted for employers but also useful for job seekers, has
the benefit of national recognition. The site sets itself up as the
leading resource for employers seeking to integrate people with
disabilities into the workplace and companies seeking to reach them in
the consumer marketplace.
- National Organization
on Disability - expands the participation and contribution of
America’s 54 million men, women and children with disabilities in all
aspects of life, including economic participation, community
participation and access to independence.

Resources for Persons with Disabilities - sponsored by JobWeb,
this small list of specialized links breaks down more information from
various institutions (including other schools' career centers)
focusing on programs. While many other sites point you towards similar
information, this list of links is fairly rare.

Disability.gov - Excellent site provided by the U.S. government.
Information about your employment rights, gain access to job bank
and resume-building sites, and learn about work incentives for
Social Security recipients and job accommodations. Links are also
included relating to working for the government, vocational
rehabilitation, welfare-to-work, veterans employment.

Rehabilitation - Assisting individuals with disabilities to go

- Job Opportunities in the Federal Government for People with
Disabilities - This page explains Federal policies toward hiring
