  • Ashoka - Ashoka's mission is to develop the profession of social entrepreneurship around the world. It is a global non-profit organization that searches the world for social entrepreneurs - extraordinary individuals with unprecedented ideas for change in their communities. Recommended by alum Bill Carter '68, Social Entrepreneur.

  • Center for Social Entrepreneurship - Basic information of interest on SE, plus a useful Resource section.
  • Corporation for Enterprise Development - NPO that works to expand economic opportunities for all.
  • Echoing Green - Excellent organization that provides seed financing to social entrepreneurs.  Use the Resources section to find more sites dedicated to social entrepreneurship and social enterprise.
  • Management Help - Information on social entrepreneurship.
  • Social Enterprise Coalition – An organization based in the UK that promotes social enterprise.  Helpful information.
  • Social Venture Network – Use this site’s Member Profiles section to indentify potential employers who adhere to principles of social responsibility and sustainability.
  • Social Enterprise Alliance – The association of individuals and organizations building effective, more sustainable nonprofits through earned income strategies. Great directory of NPOs with social enterprises.
