Fall Recruiting Consortium (FRC)

The Fall Recruiting Consortium is a day of interviews held at the American Management Association in New York in early November. Only students from Bowdoin, Middlebury, Sarah Lawrence, Swarthmore, and Wesleyan are eligible to participate. You must submit resumes and cover letters, for each job for which you want to apply, in hard copy to the CRC in order to be considered for pre-selected interviews. The 2006 PAPER application deadline is Tuesday, September 26, 2006 by 4:00 p.m. For a list of participating employers and job postings, go to http://www.swarthmore.edu/Admin/career_services/frc2006/students.htm and click on "Browse Job Postings". There is also other helpful information about how to apply and what to expect on the day of the event on this site.

Eastern College Career Days (ECCD-Boston and ECCD-New York)

Eastern College Career Days are interview days in either Boston or New York for students from nine small liberal arts colleges. Only students from Amherst, Bowdoin, Colgate, Hamilton, Middlebury, St. Lawrence, Skidmore, Wesleyan and Williams are eligible to participate. Students must submit resumes online via eccdb.erecruiting.com (not MyCRC) in advance in order to be considered for pre-selected interviews.

Connecticut Career Fairs

The Job Development Unit at the Connecticut Department of Labor is responsible for running the Connecticut Career Fairs. These state-sponsored Connecticut Career Fairs have a history of providing the most results-oriented, cost-effective career fairs available in Connecticut. At each fair, attendees have the chance to meet with prospective employers, and can take advantage of the following services:

  • Nationally certified resume writers available for critiquing.
  • Connecticut's Job Bank available to inform attendees about the Job Bank and how they can benefit form using it.
  • Veterans Services Representatives to provide assistance and guidance.
