Program Summary

Wesleyan University is one of ten Eastern colleges that will participate in ECCD Boston on November 18, 2005. We invite you to apply for this annual recruiting consortium, organized to provide employers the opportunity to meet pre-selected students for first-round interviews in one convenient location. To apply, go to eccdb.erecruiting.com and select "Create Account" at the bottom of the "Students" section on the left-hand side of the page. You will be asked to complete a few required fields before proceeding in the system. You will be asked to complete a few required fields before proceeding in the system. To view participating employers and job descriptions, and to apply, please select "Career Center Calendar" from the gray navigation bar and navigate to the application deadline date of Friday, October 13, 2006.

A job description of each available position is provided, along with contact information and application requirements. Most employers require a cover letter along with your resume, and some ask for transcripts and other application materials. Please plan ahead and research in advance; the DEADLINE for applications is OCTOBER 13 at 11:59 P.M. Do NOT wait until October 12 to do your research!

You may apply to as many as 13 employers; however, please note that a cover letter and resume are required for each employer.

If an employer on the ECCD list is also planning an on-campus recruiting visit (such as Carney Sandoe), apply to both programs; one date or time may work out to be more convenient than the other, and there is no obligation in applying to either program until you have been selected for and have accepted an interview appointment.

Students will start receiving interview decisions via e-mail beginning October 24. For those students accepted for interviews, online sign-ups through the ECCD-Boston eRecruiting site start October 26. Students must have chosen their interview slots by November 1. Remember, the longer you wait, the less choice of desirable slots you will have!

In the event that you are not able to accept an interview, you may decline and get in touch with the employer to set up an interview at a mutually convenient time and place. However, if you know now that you will not be able to be in Boston on November 18, please do not apply through ECCD; instead, contact employers independently for interviews.

This event will be held at the Back Bay Events Center in Boston. Further instructions and directions will be available in November.
