CareerSearch

Overview
CareerSearch is an extensive database that includes over two million U.S. companies along with contact names, addresses, phone numbers and a variety of company background information. The database can be searched according to industry type, location, and keywords.

How to Log In
You must authenticate through the Wesleyan Electronic Portfolio system before you can access the CareerSearch login page.

• Students: Please log in to your electronic portfolio and then in the "Beyond Campus" section, select the "Online Resources & Passwords" page. Click on the CareerSearch hyperlink to get to the CareerSearch login page.
• Alumni: Please log in to WesNet and then in the "Resources" section, select the "CRC Resources & Passwords" page. Click on the CareerSearch hyperlink to get to the CareerSearch login page.

When you access the site for the first time, you will need to create an account. Please follow the instructions in the "New Users" section. Returning users can simply log in with the username and password they created in the "Returning Users" section. Please note: the Client Referral code is required for you to be able to successfully log in as a Wesleyan user. Please do not edit or delete the contents of this field.

How to Use CareerSearch
The CareerSearch team has put together a detailed document that includes text and pictures explaining how best to use this tool. You probably won't want to print this document in its entirety (it's almost 60 pages long) but you may choose to review and/or print certain relevant sections. You can also access this document, and others, through the "Helpful Documents" link on the CareerSearch home page.
