Mock Interviews
- Recommended for: Undergraduate students and alumni who have
upcoming interviews for internships, fellowships, or jobs.
- Description: Hour-long videotaped sessions with a career
counselor (telephone mock interviews are also available for those off
campus). The counselor conducts an interview as if it were the "real"
interview and then provides feedback.
- How to schedule: Please call the CRC reception desk at
860-685-2180. Indicate the position/organization/fellowship for which you
wish to have a practice interview. If there is not a specific opportunity,
please indicate the career field for which you want a practice interview.
Once scheduled, you must e-mail or drop off your resume at the CRC at
least 24 hours before the interview. If resume is not received, the
interview will be cancelled. Please dress as you would for the real
interview and bring a pen and pad of paper with you.
- We also offer Mock Medical/Dental/Veterinary Interviews.
Please inquire with Peggy Carey
Best for more information. Once scheduled, you should dress as you
would for the real interview, but a pen and pad of paper is not
necessary. If you don't have a
panel letter on file, you must drop off a resume and an unofficial
copy of your transcript 24 hours before the interview. If you have had a
panel letter written for you, there is no need to provide a resume or
transcript.
