An artist's statement:

Plasticity is a site-specific topographical installation constructed from stacked and contoured layers of bubble wrap.  The piece playfully challenges the scale, material identity, and tectonic logic of traditional topographical modeling and construction techniques while accounting for the formal, dimensional and material character of the gallery interior.
