Feet to the Fire commissions works by student, faculty, and visiting artists. In the past, these commissions have included but are not limited to performances, visual art exhibitions, and installations. F2F supports artists whose research involves working with scholars and materials in non-arts areas in ways that will advance the artists’ own research and extend the arts into new areas of campus curricular and co-curricular life. The focus of commissioned works is to create opportunities for artists and the campus community to collaborate and build long-term connections.
