Field Trip to Dinosaur State Park, Rocky Hill, CT

Dinosaur State Park is on West Street about a mile east of I-91 exit 23, a few miles south of Hartford.  There is a modest entrance fee for the indoor exhibits, but the outdoor exhibits, picnic grounds, arboretum, gardens, and nature trail are free.  Normal hours are 9 to 4:30, and the park is closed on Mondays.  School groups are welcome, but reservations of at least two weeks in advance are required for all group tours of the indoor Exhibit Center.
