Location & Directions

The Davison Art Center is located at 301 High Street on the Wesleyan University campus in Middletown, Connecticut.

You can find the DAC on Google Maps. Travel directions are below; please contact us for more information.

By Car

From Hartford and points north:

Interstate 91 South, exit 22 to Route 9 South. At exit 15, turn right onto Route 66 West (Washington Street), following the signs to Wesleyan. From Washington Street, turn left onto High Street at the top of the hill. The Davison Art Center is one block south at 301 High Street, in a pink building on the right. You may park along High Street, or in the adjacent parking lot on weekends.

From Boston and points northeast:

Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) West to Interstate 84 West to Hartford. Exit 57 to Interstate 91 South, exit 22 to Route 9 South. At exit 15 turn right onto Route 66 West (Washington Street). From Washington Street, turn left onto High Street and proceed as above. 

From Providence and points east/southeast:

Interstate 95 South to exit 69 to Route 9 North. At exit 15 turn left onto Route 66 West (Washington Street). From Washington Street, turn left onto High Street and proceed as above.

From New Haven, New York and points south/southwest:

Interstate 91 North, exit 18 to Route 691/66 East. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in Middletown. From Washington Street, turn right onto High Street and proceed as above.

From Waterbury and points west:

Interstate 84 East, exit 27 to Route 691/66 East. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in Middletown. From Washington Street, turn right onto High Street and proceed as above.

By Bus or Train

Metro North trains travel from New York to New Haven.

By Air to Bradley International Airport
