Block/Plate/Stone: What a Print Is

The exhibition displayed about eighty prints from the DAC collection to address a variety of printmaking issues: differences between media of woodcut, etching, and lithography; concepts of quality, condition, copies, stage proofs, and "states"; materials on which prints are made, whether paper, silk, or wood; and prints worked in variations on a single theme, editioned in states, sets, or series.
