The DAC's holdings include many American prints from the etching revival of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and by more recent American printmakers of the 20th century. In recent years the scope of the collection has been expanded to include acquisitions of nineteenth-century reproductive prints useful as primary sources for undergraduates, faculty, and visiting scholars studying the nation's cultural and social history.
