Early Prints, 1460-1490

Among the 15th-century European prints in the DAC Collection are works by anonymous artists, or by various artists known as "Master" or "Monogrammist," including Master ES (Calvary, the only impression in a U.S. collection); Master IAM of Zwolle (1); Master IB with the bird (3); Master MZ (7); Master of St. Erasmus (1); Master WH (2); Monogrammists HCZA, AF, DS, HCF, and others (17). Known artists include N. Mair von Landshut (1); Wenzel von Olmütz (1); Martin Schongauer (7, plus prints after Schongauer); and Michael Wolgemut (1).
