Groups of Images of DAC Objects
The former Davison Art Center website included several hundred pages with individual, low-resolution images of collection objects. Those static pages no longer exist, but better versions of most of those images are now available online via DAC Collection Search.
If you follow a bookmark or a link to one of those former pages from the three most popular and heavily used groups of such images, you will automatically see the specific DAC Collection Search page that replaces it with a higher-resolution, zoomable image and more current text. Those new images represent the complete set of 80 Caprichos by Francisco de Goya, the Faust series by Eugène Delacroix, and the series of prints after Hendrik Goltzius illustrating Ovid's Metamorphoses. The first 20 images of the last series were previously online; now all 53 are.
At present, links to the small number of other former DAC pages for individual images lead to this page. For descriptive information about those and other objects, please visit DAC Collection Search. As new images become available, links to their former individual pages also will be redirected automatically to their replacements there, where more than 3,800 high-resolution images are currently available for zoomable viewing online and for download as DAC Open Access Images.
You also may wish to view the list of all groups of images now available in DAC Collection Search.
