From 31 October through 13 December 1996, the Ezra and Cecile Zilkha Gallery had on view "Trick or Treat: Surprises from the Davison Art Center," organized collaboratively by former DAC Curator Ellen D'Oench and Zilkha Gallery Curator of Exhibitions Nina Felshin.

The exhibition presented in salon style a wide range of works from the DAC collection, many of them seldom seen in public due to their large size and the DAC's limited exhibition space.
