Kim calligraphy

Art of Ink in America:

This exhibition presented work by fifteen contemporary Chinese, Japanese, Korean, American, and European artists who have developed a transnational style of calligraphy based on a traditional East Asian formal vocabulary.

Calligraphy by Sun Wuk Kim

Organized by Dr. Sun Wuk Kim, Art of Ink was shown at the DAC and the Mansfield Freeman Center for East Asian Studies.

Locating Clement Greenberg

In this exhibition of prints by Olitski, Frankenthaler and others, curator Jesse Weinraub '98 explored how Greenberg's formalist criticism shaped the paradigm of modernist art in the United States during the 1950s and 1960s.
