Jim Dine, The Photographs, so far

Dine

Organized by the DAC and the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris, the major exhibition Jim Dine, The Photographs, so far toured these European and American venues in 2003 and 2004:

Jim Dine, Me, Dangling, 1999; digital pigment print.

A catalog raisonné has been published in connection with the exhibition. It includes a full catalog of Jim Dine's photographs, accompanied by essays by Andy Grundberg, former photography critic for the New York Times; the distinguished British art historian and curator Marco Livingstone; Jean-Luc Monterosso, director of the Maison Européenne de la Photographie; and former DAC curator Stephanie Wiles. The text is in English and French; the book has been published with the German firm Steidl Verlag.

The exhibition and the catalog raisonné were made possible through grants or special funding from The Florence Gould Foundation, Joan and John R. Jakobson, and the Lemberg Fund; additional support was provided by the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, Wesleyan University, and The Grand Marnier Foundation.
