FDAC Benefits & Other Events

Members of the Friends of the Davison Art Center receive invitations to a wide range of events. There are three such events this fall.

Decadent Desserts at the Davison Art Center
(Wesleyan Student Event)

Thursday 24 September 2009, 5:00-7:00 P.M.

Organized by our FDAC student members, this event is especially for Wesleyan students, with music, food, and fun in the DAC Courtyard.

Tour of New York City Photograph Galleries

Saturday 14 November 2009, 11:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Tour of New York City photograph galleries, led by noted collector and Wesleyan professor Andrew Szegedy-Maszak. Transportation not included. For details, fees, and advance registration (required), please contact the University Box Office at 860-685-3355.

Gallery Tour for New York City FDAC Members

Saturday 5 December 2009, 11:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.

Special tour for New York City-based FDAC members and friends. View selected Chelsea galleries with John Paoletti, Professor Emeritus. Transportation not included. For details, fees, and advance registration (required), please contact the University Box Office at 860-685-3355.

Other FDAC Events

Other FDAC events include the annual Holiday Print Sale; such major fund-raisers as benefit auctions every five years and occasional Heirloom Discovery Days; and members-only parties, receptions, and trips to other museums.
