Print Reference Library

The DAC Print Reference Library holds some 3,000 volumes on printmaking history. It contains many standard reference works central to scholarly research on original prints, especially those from Europe and the United States.

Wesleyan students learn how to study original prints with books in the Print Reference Library.

Reference works are crucial to print scholarship, which often attends to variant states that have been described by specialists.
