Markup Standards

All page markup in the DAC website conforms to the HTML 4.01 Transitional standard. Adherence to nonproprietary standards of this sort plays an important part in making Web resources accessible to people using a wide range of browsers. Certain pages use legacy HTML elements and attributes in specific ways that help maintain legibility when displayed in older Web browsers (while still conforming to the HTML 4.01 Transitional standard).
